During the sixteenth century Carrara marble, already known for its architectural and artistic uses, entered a new season of diffusion across Europe through the tiles commonly called “marmette” or “quadrette”.

A group of 12 young asylum seekers, students at the Provincial Centre for Adult Education of Massa Carrara — an independent school providing training for young people and adults who have not completed compulsory education — recently visited the FUM headquarters.
